We support students' academic needs such as helping pay for field trips, calculators, registration and conference costs, club apparel and more.
The Panther Fund supports students with an interest in exploring their talent in visual arts by helping cover lab donations and assorted art supplies.
We support athletes with expenses related to insurance costs, physicals, athletic apparel and equipment needs.
We believe students should have every opportunity to pursue their musical interests. Our support affords students the opportunity to participate in band, orchestra and choir by assisting them with instrumental rental, equipment and travel costs.
Students come to us with requests to help offset the cost of participating in performing arts programs, which can include costumes, travel, other expenses and more.

Panther Pathways
In 2021 we started our expansion in to the Elementary School level with our partnership with West Ottawa's Panther Pathways program. Panther Pathways is an after school program for WO Elementary School Students to participate in athletics, arts, and academics at absolutely no cost to them.

Second Grade Swim
Launched in 2022, the Panther Fund started it's 2nd grade swim initiative, raising money to provide access to high quality swim lessons for all WO second graders.
This program has been a huge success in increasing water safety for our students living so close to Lake Michigan, that as of the 2023-2024 school year, we are now able to increase our reach not only to all 2ns graders, but also all WO 4th graders and elementary summer school students.

Velo Kids
Launched in 2024, the Panther Fund partnered with the local non-profit. Velo Kids, to provide bike lessons to the students at all WOPS elementary schools.

Boots for Troops
Started up in 2024, we have taken on the initiative to support our graduating seniors joining any of the military branches with the opportunity to receive a pair of high quality combat boots to be utilized after their basic training.
With this, we have partnered with The 90 Ascent (nonprofit) to provide support to these student for case package needs during their basic training experiences and beyond.

Free Athletic Physicals
Partnering with local health care groups, Corewell Health and AFC Urgent Care we have developed two programs that allow us to pay for students to have athletic physicals completed at no cost to them.
Every year we facilitate around 400 athletic physicals for students from middle school up through high school.

Instrument Rentals
Along with Meyer Music in Holland, and the Guarneri House, we help facilitate affordable music instrument rentals for students involved in band and orchestra.
We cover $100 toward their instrument rental costs.

Foreign Exchange Sponsorship
In order to create more equitable opportunities, we have taken on the initiative to sponsor students who want to participate in our foreign exchange programs who might normally not have the monetary access to do so.
